My Mama, Elisa, was born and bred in Louisiana. Mama was an accessories buyer at Arnold Constable in Manhattan in the 40"s and 50"s. She was a prolific storyteller and also an amateur cartoonist for her school newspaper. I will share some of her writings & cartoons here.
